ORDER OF PUBLICATION

The Plaintiff filed this suit pursuant to Va. Code § 58.1-3965, et seq., to enforce its delinquent tax liens against the following real estate standing in the name of Unitarian name Universalist Association as successor in interest to The Universalist General Convention, or the unknown successors in interest or unknown trustees of The Universalist General Convention:

An affidavit having been filed that the Plaintiff served Defendant Otis Vernon Joyner, Jr., if living, by posted service at his last known address of 156 Hawthorne Drive, Winchester, Virginia 22601, and used due diligence to ascertain any other location for him, but without effect; that the Plaintiff served Defendant Greg Pope by substitute service via the Secretary of the Commonwealth at his last known address of 126 Normandy Drive, Woodstock, Georgia 30188, and used due diligence to ascertain any other location for him, but without effect; that the Plaintiff served Defendant Heather Radford by substitute service via the Secretary of the Commonwealth at her last known address of 210 Darbys Crossing Court, Hiram, Georgia 30141, and used due diligence to ascertain any other location for her, but without effect; that the Plaintiff served Defendant Nancy R. Lewis a/b/a Nancy L. White by posted service at her last known address of 403 Country Club Blvd., Chesapeake, Virginia 23322, and used due diligence to ascertain any other location for her, but without effect; that if Otis Vernon Joyner, Jr., Greg Pope, Heather Radford, or Nancy R. Lewis a/k/a Nancy L. White, are not living, then the Plaintiff used due diligence to locate their unknown heirs, devisees, and successors in interest, but without effect; that the plaintiff used due diligence to locate Unitarian Universalist Association as successor in interest to The Universalist General Convention, or the unknown successors in interest or unknown trustees of The Universalist General Convention, and used due diligence to ascertain any location for it, but without effect; that the Plaintiff used due diligence to locate the unknown heirs, devisees, and successors in interest of J.E.T. Joyner, Mary M. Joyner, Mary Heffington, Robert Joyner Heffington, Thelma Heffington, James L. Joyner, Laura Joyner, Edward Thomas Joyner, Otis Vernon Joyner, Garophelia Joyner, Martha Sara Joyner, Beedie Lewis, E. Rowland Lewis, Vivian Lewis, and Sherilyn L. Leath, and used due diligence to ascertain any location for them, but without effect; and that there may be other persons having an interest in the property whose names and addresses are unknown, and those claiming through the aforementioned parties, all such persons made defendants as “Parties Unknown.”
It is ORDERED that this Order be published at least once a week for FOUR (4) consecutive weeks in Smithfield Times, a newspaper of general circulation in Isle of Wight, Virginia, and that the parties named herein appear at 9:00 a.m. on September 26, 2022, in the Isle of Wight County Circuit Court Clerk’s Office and do what may be necessary to protect their respective interests, and which date, in accordance with Virginia Code Section 8.01-317, is not less than FIFTY (50) days from the date of entry herein.
